CHICKPEA SPROUTS

Chickpea sprouts compliment light meals at any time of the year. The unique earthy taste gives a distinctive flavour to soups, salads, and vegetables. Chickpea sprouts are an excellent source of essential nutrients and contribute to healthy balanced nutrition.

Chickpea sprouts contain vitamins A, B, C, E, K, as well as Iron, Potassium, Phosphorous and Protein.

How to use Chickpea seeds for sprouting

Before sprouting, rinse thoroughly in fresh water then soak seeds for 8 hours.

For best results sow seeds thinly.

Germination time may vary with temperature.

Amount per tray / jar: 1 tablespoons of seeds.

Temperature: 18 – 20°C.

Rinse: 2 – 3 times daily.

Ready to eat: After approximately 3 to 6 days.

Ingredients: Organically grown Chickpea seed.
