This is due to their aromatics and calming properties that settle an anxious mind and body to ease you into a restful slumber. 

Ancient Ayurvedic Ashwagandha

Its delicate flavour profile & base is made up of superfoods such as New Zealand purple carrots, Peruvian mesquite powder, organic artichoke inulin and natural vanilla bean extract powder. Purple carrots provide the most beautiful purple pigment due to their naturally high anthocyanin content - these antioxidants are similar to those found in blackberries & blueberries but are present in even higher amounts in purple carrots. These anthocyanins are highly preserved through gentle refractance drying method to make Lunar Latte the beautiful natural colour that it is, and is also beneficial for fighting oxidative stress within the body.

The addition of Mesquite not only adds creamy caramel undertones to Lunar Latte but is also high in dietary fibre and many minerals such as Zinc, Calcium, Magnesium & Iron. Organic artichoke inulin helps to ensure proper digestion by acting as a prebiotic in the gut to feed beneficial gut microflora, and also adds a subtle sweetness.

WITH GRANOLA AND NUT BUTTER


This delicious bowl of goodness is the perfect way to combine dessert with your evening wind-down Lunar Latte ritual. It will feel like you're eating an ice cream crumble, but this sweet treat is a far cry from the usual empty calorie dessert. 

The ice-creamy base provides some protein and healthy fats with the almond milk, potassium and vitamin B6 from bananas, antioxidant polyphenols from the purple carrot in Lunar Latte, and adaptogenic herbs. The granola and buckwheat kernels will also provide a range of vitamins and minerals so you know you're nourishing and supporting your body whilst indulging and winding down after a long day.

There's also no reason you can't have this dreamy dessert for breakfast, or any other stage in the day! 

 

INGREDIENTS

2 frozen bananas

1 tbsp almond milk (add more or less for your preferred consistency)

1 tbsp nut butter

1/3 cup organic granola (store bought or a mix of nuts and seeds)

1 tbsp buckwheat kernels

Optional (but awesome): a few pieces of watermelon cut into cute shapes

PRODUCTS

2-3 tsp Lunar Latte

METHOD

1. Mix together Lunar Latte and almond milk until the latte powder has dissolved into the milk. 

2. Place frozen bananas in a high powered blender. 

3. Pour over almond milk mixture.

4. Blend until it forms a creamy ice cream texture. 

5. Pour into a bowl and add granola, buckwheat kernels, nut butter and watermelon. 

Beauty Sleep Moon Milk

Ever heard of beauty sleep? Yeah, it's important. A good nights sleep does a world of good, inside and out, so we've paired our Collagen Beauty and Lunar Latter to make a dreamy moon milk potion. Moon Milk has been used in Ayurvedic traditions as a remedy for sleeplessness, and with its beautiful adaptogenic herbs, Lunar Latte lends itself perfectly to this tradition, and the addition of Collagen Beauty amps ups the goodness.

 

INGREDIENTS

250 ml Milk (of your choice)

Dried rose petals (optional)

 

PRODUCTS

1 tsp Lunar Latte

1 tsp The Wholefood Pantry Coconut Oil

1 tsp The Wholefood Pantry Maple Syrup (depending if you like it sweet)

1 serve Collagen Beauty

METHOD

1. Place 1 cup of milk, Lunar Latte, Coconut Oil, Maple Syrup (if using) and vanilla bean in a saucepan and simmer until warm, whisking vigorously to infuse. 

2. Pour your Moon Milk into a high powered blender along with a serve (2 scoops) of Collagen Beauty and whizz until beautiful and frothy.

3. Pour into your favourite cup, top with dried rose petals and enjoy.
