This cream was made for the sensitive types. MooGoo know how frustrating it can be for those with fussy skin that react to just about anything and everything. This lightweight cream is made using natural, moisturising oils that are high in the types of fatty acids that healthy skin needs and irritated skin loves. Then MooGoo added in as much MSM as we could. This moisturiser is fully loaded with stand-up skin nourishing ingredients to soothe troubled skin. Perfect for the whole family, all ages and skin types so rub it on whenever and wherever your skin could use a little love.

FAQS

'Fragrance' is listed as one of the ingredients in this product. What does this mean?

When MooGoo first started making products, a blend of essentials oils was used to create their lovely fragrances. But many people have severe reactions and allergies to them, even in small amounts. As a result, and because MooGoo make products for people with sensitive skin, they were taken out of most products. Instead, MooGoo helped to develop a special kind of fragrant oil, whereby each component in it is less than the EU allergy threshold. This is how MooGoo can create pleasant-smelling products that won’t cause a reaction. The scents MooGoo use are proprietary blends from the company they are sourced from, and MooGoo haven’t received any complaints of reactions since making the switch. Also, of course, the formula is free from phthalates, which is the main concern in fragrances.

Is this moisturiser made of milk?

The MooGoo brand was not created because their products are based on milk. Fresh milk in a cream would go off and be smelly. Yuck! MooGoo do use Milk Protein in a few of their skin and hair care products, and it’s sourced ethically and sustainably from happy and healthy cows raised on a beautiful farm in New Zealand.

I’m Lactose intolerant. Are MooGoo products safe for me to use?

Almost all MooGoo products do not contain milk. MooGoo do add Milk Protein to some of their moisturising creams as it happens to be very good for maintaining skin elasticity and for protecting the hair shaft in our Hair Care products. The protein is not related to Lactose.

If you have an allergy to Milk Protein (rather than Lactose) you may want to choose creams without Milk Protein. They include the Eczema & Psoriasis Cream, Soothing MSM Moisturiser and Scalp Cream.

Can I use this moisturiser when my skin flares up? Or do you recommend something else?

This moisturiser can be used any time, when your skin is behaving and also when it’s having a breakdown. When times are tough, we recommend using this in conjunction with MooGoo Eczema & Psoriasis Creams to soothe and moisturise the skin. Apply the Eczema & Psoriasis Cream first to the affect areas and allow it to soak in for 2 minutes. Then apply the Soothing MSM Moisturiser over top and anywhere else you like.
